Dear Peter, I can’t find much disagreement in what you write. You are right, that it would be naive to hope for spontaneous self-organization within a hierarchical structure. Though some people really call me naive, I’m not that naive. I really like your idea of the self-propagating transformation and in fact this is also something I suggest: start small with those who are able and willing and show that it works and then try to spread and scale it. I will for sure have a closer look at your concept! Thanks for sharing.
